Life Dresses by Alicia Framis at Stedelijk Museum Schiedam

On display since the re-opening of Stedelijk Museum Schiedam are two Life Dresses made from airbag fabric by Alicia Framis: Lifedress, Maria, (2018) and Lifedress, Sanne (2018)

The dresses made from the strong fabric used for responsive and protecting design like airbags in cars, are now functioning to protect women against violence.
