David Haines and Ronald Ophuis at Garage Rotterdam

From April 25th until July 6th, the exhibition 'Beauty of Violence' takes place at Garage Rotterdam, a new exhibition space for contemporary art in the centre of Rotterdam. The exhibition examines two concepts that at first sight appear to be opposites: beauty and violence. What relationship do they have with one another and with art? Seven artists exhibit work in which violence plays various roles. Among the selected artists are Upstream's David Haines and Ronald Ophuis.
